Google Cloud Architect

**Description**We are seeking for skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. Google Cloud Platform is preferred. But AWS and Azure/OCI are also considerable. This role involves designing and implementing robust cloud solutions ensuring security protocols and optimizing performance.
**Qualifications**
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud Platform ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Provide expertise in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Implement and maintain Service Mesh for microservices management and security.
- Ensure robust authentication and authorization mechanisms using Google IAM and other security protocols.
- Implement OAuth and JSON Web Token (JWT) for secure API authentication.
- Conduct REST / API service testing using Postman and other tools to ensure reliability and performance
- Implement and manage DevOps practices to enhance development efficiency and collaboration.
- Utilize Google Cloud Armor and Google Firewalls to enhance security and protect against threats.
- Manage Kubernetes/Openshift clusters for container orchestration and scaling.
- Utilize load balancers to distribute traffic and ensure high availability of services.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
- Provide guidance on the use of GIT for version control and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards including SAML/Openconnect.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience with Cloud Platforms, Docker Containers, Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms like Google/AWS IAM.
- Experience with data caching load balancers and security protocols.
- Experience in REST API development and testing using tools like Postman.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines like Jenkins/Gitlab
- Strong knowledge of provisioning tools like CloudFormation and/or Ansible/Terraform
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Must have strong problem-solving and communications skills.
- Google Cloud Certification is nice to have
- Long-term on-site business trips 1-2 weeks per month
