Product Owner

**What We Need**:
Oivan is looking for a Product Owner with relevant experience in working with high profile software and IT products with reputed clients in the Middle Eastern region. **What You'll Do**:
We offer you the unique opportunity to work and improve your skills with a diverse and geographically distributed team of technology and business experts around the world. You will be responsible for the following:

- Own product backlog
- Strategizing and presenting ideas to stakeholders
- Defining product features according to customer needs
- Acting as the main point of contact between Oivan development teams and other client stakeholders
- Managing and prioritizing product backlog items
- Assisting the development teams to meet the objectives of each sprint.
- Adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release
- Identifying areas of improvement
- Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product.
- Standardize and evangelize agile delivery and Scrum methodologies to product and engineering teams.
- Build strong relationships with our clients as a problem solver and trusted advisor in product management.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to continuously acquire new competencies.
- Accept new challenges and display agility and flexibility in response to changing priorities and needs.

**What You've Got**:
For this role, you are going to be working with our Head of Strategic Delivery. As the Product Owner, we prefer that you have the following:

- 5 or more years of product management in the software development industry or alternative.
- A proven track record of leading and supporting successful IT products using Agile methodologies.
- Strong command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the technical team (microservices, architecture, mobile development etc.)
- Familiar with work management tools such as JIRA/Confluence for dashboards, boards configuration, burndown, and similar tools
- Excellent time management and self-management capabilities
- Customer relations and business development experience
- Technical background and practical experience in coding a plus
- PSPO or equivalent Agile certifications are considered a major asset.
- Arabic language skills a plus
