An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Chief Engineer to work client side on a critical transport facility based at a prestigious project in S.Arabia.
**Overview**: The Chief Engineer is key business management role with overall responsibility for the delivery of safe, secure, consistent, and high performing facility assets.
**Key duties**: - The initial focus for the post holder will be transitioning the facility from a construction project into a live operational facility with a strong focus on Operational Readiness Activation and Transition (ORAT). - Post ORAT the focus of the role will transition to having overall responsibility for performance of the multi-million asset base with a focus on key infrastructure assets. - Driving a culture of innovation & continuous improvement through the adoption of new process, technology and effective and efficient work practices will be key.
**Criteria: - **Degree level or equivalent qualification in engineering or relevant field. - MSc or MBA is a plus. - Experience operating in both Middle Eastern and European markets - Professional accreditation to national institute of engineering or equivalent - 15+ years’ experience in engineering or maintenance positions of which 10 years must be in senior roles leading large teams in airports - Experience in delivering financial, portfolio and commercial data, insight and reporting. - Extensive experience delivering and maintaining large capital projects in complex stakeholder environments and live operations.
