**Job Summary**:
The Assistant Production role is crucial in supporting Wholly Hearty’s mission to scale its production efficiently and safely. This role will assist in overseeing production operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, optimizing manufacturing processes, and coordinating across various departments to maintain smooth production workflows in a fast-growing startup environment. This is an office-based role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in monitoring daily production activities and ensuring adherence to production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Support efforts to optimize manual processes and contribute to automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and product consistency.
- Coordinate with operators and laborers to maintain efficiency and workflow while upholding quality and safety standards.
- Work closely with the Lead Engineer to track maintenance schedules and machine performance to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in implementing engineering improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Officer to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of raw materials and finished goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excess stock to maintain an efficient supply chain.
- Assist the Quality Officer in ensuring compliance with food quality and safety standards, including HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
- Support the Safety Officer in implementing safety protocols and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist the Production Manager in planning production schedules and optimizing workforce allocation to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Document Controller to maintain updated records for audits, compliance, and process documentation.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, labor-intensive startup environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (preferred).
- Must be based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama.
- Valid Saudi driving license.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process automation to drive operational excellence.
- Understanding of food safety standards and compliance, particularly in the food production industry.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with multiple teams and departments effectively.
