**Job Overview**:
The Vice President (VP) of Marketing & Brand is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the company's overall marketing strategy, with a strong focus on brand development, customer engagement, and market expansion.
This position is critical for driving growth, enhancing the brand’s presence in the marketplace, and positioning the company as a leader in its industry.
The VP of Marketing & Brand will lead a multi-functional marketing team, collaborating across departments to deliver cohesive and impactful marketing initiatives that drive both short-term results and long-term brand equity.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Marketing Strategy & Leadership**:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and growth goals.
- Own the marketing roadmap, ensuring a balance between demand generation, product marketing, and brand-building initiatives.
- Lead multi-channel marketing efforts, including digital, content, social media, events, PR, and partnerships, ensuring consistent brand messaging and identity.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define the company's value proposition, positioning, and competitive differentiation in the market.
**Brand Management**:
- Drive brand strategy, ensuring that the company’s mission, values, and messaging are clearly communicated across all touchpoints.
- Oversee brand development initiatives, including visual identity, tone of voice, and narrative, to create a powerful and recognizable brand presence.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, campaigns, and communications, both internal and external.
- Develop brand awareness campaigns that resonate with key audiences and enhance the company’s reputation and credibility in the market.
**Team Leadership & Development**:
- Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team, including managers and specialists in areas such as digital marketing, content, social media, PR, and events.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on creativity, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure the marketing team is equipped with the necessary resources, tools, and training to excel in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
- Demand Generation & Customer Acquisition:
- Own and execute strategies to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention across all digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Develop data-driven marketing campaigns designed to increase customer engagement, conversion rates, and lifetime value.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales targets and ensure a seamless lead handoff and nurturing process.
- Monitor performance metrics, such as ROI, conversion rates, and funnel performance, to optimize campaign effectiveness and resource allocation.
**Market Research & Customer Insights**:
- Lead market research initiatives to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Use market data and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies and drive innovation in product positioning, branding, and communication.
- Ensure the company is ahead of market trends, adjusting marketing efforts to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Public Relations & Communication:
- Oversee public relations efforts, managing media relationships, press releases, and thought leadership initiatives to enhance the company’s public image.
- Act as a brand spokesperson when needed, representing the company in public forums, media interviews, and industry events.
- Lead the creation of internal communication strategies that align employees with the company’s brand values and strategic direction.
**Budget Management**:
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels and initiatives to maximize impact.
- Track, measure, and report on marketing performance, ensuring that marketing spend is aligned with revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Continually assess the return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities and make adjustments to improve overall efficiency and impact.
**Requirements**:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP, Director, or equivalent), preferably in a high-growth or tech environment.
- Proven experience in building and scaling brands at a national or global level, with a track record of driving significant brand equity and business growth.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire creative and operational teams.
