In our 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia) of operation, we are working on the production and distribution of low-carbon electricity, through the development of nuclear and renewable energies. We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.

**ROLE PURPOSE
- Support the infrastructure team in coordination of BIM models, federated models, updates, checks, re-designs, re-routing, quantities etc.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models for utilities and roads, adhering to employer standards and company guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards and project requirements, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure BIM models are coordinated and clash-free.
- Generate 3D models of utilities and road infrastructure projects using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs for utilities and roads.
- Creating and maintaining BIM Models for proposed and existing utility pipe network and associated appurtenances - underground power, water networks, storm drainage system, sanitary sewer system, gas system, telecommunications/data systems etc.
- Ensuring coordination of BIM activities (i.e., coordinate systems, standard templates, clash management, design review, etc.,) are shared and complied to among the design stakeholders.
- Collaboratively working with various engineering disciplines, participating in model coordination meetings, and aspiring to deliver high quality, clash free models.
- Develop and implement BIM standards, templates, and workflows for the team.
- Develop/Enhance standard processes for BIM/3D model health check against project requirements.
- Ensure that the design standards align with CAD / BIM / GIS strategy and link appropriately with the wider business.
- Preparing design drawings for engineering purposes including site plans, utilities cross-sections and utilities layouts as per established CAD standards within Engineering Department.
- Developing accurate utilities layout plans, easement plans, site plans from conceptual level sketches prepared by planning/design staff.
- Stay up to date on the latest BIM technologies and trends and propose innovative solutions for improving workflows.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and owners.
- Manage and track your own workload, meeting deadlines and project objectives.
- Conducts regular Assessments to review the implementation of the BEP and compliance to the project execution strategy, capture Lessons Learned and seek opportunities for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to the project team on BIM processes, standards, and technologies.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of BIM models and project deliverables.
- Use Civil 3D to design plans and profiles of utilities, including using and creating pipe networks, editing and changing parts and styles, catch basin sizing/spacing and minimum cover, manhole sizing/spacing and minimum cover, hydrant spacing, and creating waterlines in profile with deflection and exaggeration, per jurisdictional requirements.
- Sound Knowledge of design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, MX Roads software, traffic analysis software, WaterCAD, SewerCAD and StormCAD is required and familiarity with sustainable design techniques will be an added advantage.
- Prepares a detailed list of project deliverables and requirement of resources at Consultancy Services Proposal/Tender Stage and upon award of the projects.

MY PROFILE

**Academic/Professional**
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- Design consultant background is preferred.
- SEC (Saudi engineering consulate) membership is preferred.
- Minimum of **6** years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of success in complex projects.

**Job-Specific Skills**:

- In-depth knowledge of wet utility and roads engineering principles, standards, codes, and regulations.
- Extensive experience in wet utility system design, preferably in a senior or leadership role
- Advanced knowledge using design software’s and standards. (WATER CAD, HAMMER, SEWER CAD AND STORM CAD).
- Expertise in BIM software, such as Civil3D.
- Expert user of ArcGIS and/or ArcMap.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, BIM 360, ProjectWise and other specialized Techniques/Tools/Software related to Infrastructure Design.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
