Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Design Engineer (MEP)**to join our team In this role you will get to develops and integrates Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, and Plumbing systems into building designs, performing calculations, creating detailed drawings, ensuring compliance with codes, and collaborating with other professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and functional building systems for the Polishing Plant

**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Key Responsibilities**MEP System Design**:

Creating designs for mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and plumbing systems within buildings.-
**Technical Calculations**:

Performing load calculations, energy efficiency analyses, and system simulations to support design decisions.-
**Design Documentation**:

Preparing detailed design drawings, specifications, schedules, and other contract documents.-
**Code Compliance**:

Ensuring all MEP systems comply with building codes, safety standards, and relevant regulations.-
**Coordination**:

Collaborating with architects, project managers, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the overall building design.-
**Site Oversight**:

Conducting site visits and inspections to oversee installation, test systems, and resolve any issues that arise.-
**Material & Equipment Selection**:

Selecting appropriate materials, equipment, and technologies for the MEP systems.-
**Energy & Sustainability**:

Implementing energy-efficient and sustainable solutions to minimize environmental impact and operational costs.-
**Quality Control**:

- Reviewing contractor submittals, product data, and performing quality control checks during all project phases.

**Required Skills**:

- **Technical Proficiency**:Expertise in MEP software like AutoCAD and Revit.
- **Problem-Solving**:The ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
- **Project Management**:Skills to manage timelines, resources, and project aspects effectively.
- **Communication & Collaboration**:Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- **Attention to Detail**:Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in designs and calculations.
- **Knowledge of Codes**:A deep understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 3+ years of related work experience. In addition, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required (or other related certifications).
