**Job Description** Job Title: Planning Engineer - Oil & Gas Sector**
**Location: Saudi Arabia**

Are you passionate about driving large-scale projects to success in the oil and gas sector? We’re seeking a skilled and motivated **Planning Engineer** to join our client's team in **Saudi Arabia**. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders on complex and high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, monitor, and update **comprehensive project schedules** using **Primavera P6** or **MS Project** to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
- Define project **milestones**, **activities**, and **work breakdown structures** aligned with the overall project scope.
- ** Track progress**, monitor deviations from the baseline, and identify potential delays and bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors, to gather accurate status updates and integrate schedules.
- Perform **critical path analysis**, assess project risks, and develop **recovery plans** when required.
- Link time schedules with **budget forecasts** to support the cost control process.
- Prepare and deliver **weekly and monthly reports**, dashboards, and progress presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with **client requirements**, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks (especially within Saudi Arabia).
- Integrate subcontractor schedules into the **master schedule** and ensure alignment with the overall project timeline.
- Analyze resource allocation and productivity data to support planning efficiency and optimization.

**Qualifications** Qualifications & Experience**:

- ** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering** (Mechanical, Civil, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer within the **oil and gas industry** is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools such as **Primavera P6**, **MS Project**, and related project management software.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and construction workflows.
- Familiarity with **Saudi Arabian regulatory standards** is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in **English**; Arabic is an advantage.
