**Job Overview**
The quality Manager (QA/QC) is senior staff responsible for preparing and implementing quality policies and procedures maintaining the quality framework during the engineering & execution phase for the company ongoing projects and align all the quality processes with ABSAR quality policy and with international standards (ISO).
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Reviewing project documentation and deliverables for compliance to the applicable project procedures and client standards.
- Ensure project quality is delivered by construction management, contractors, vendors and commissioning engineers.
- Implementation of Project Quality Management policies/plans, schedules and document review process to ensure the use of Good Engineering Practice and Good Documentation Practice.
- Document all inspections, tests, daily reports, quality records and material procurement traceability with regards to TDS and quality approvals.
- Attend all jobsite and prepare documentation for Quality Meetings.
- Perform quality oversight on subcontractors, suppliers and materials.
- Ensure compliance with the processes and standards identified for the Facility Project.
- Establish cross-functional team work with CVQ, System Owners, Design Engineers, EHSS and Plant Engineering to deliver quality documentation for the Facility Project.
- Engage with and support the project leadership and colleagues for the Facility Project with knowledge and experience in Engineering Quality Assurance.
- Support the team, as required, to deliver GDP training and perform quality audits of contractors.
- Responsible for the strict adherence to company safety policies and programs through the communication and enforcement of the ABSAR Safety and Health Management Program including the ability to independently stop work for a safety violation or suspected safety violation.
- Inspect equipment and workmanship for compliance.
- Develop and implement corrective measures in cases of noncompliance.
- Perform primary quality assurance/quality control inspections required in conformance with the project contract drawings and specifications.
- Follow the technical training for all technical staff and ABSAR academy training programs.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (civil engineering or related field).
- 10+ years of industry experience. (Waterproofing, concrete repair, flooring, insulations...etc.)
- Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry.
- Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving.
- Strong Experience in Quality Management and ISO regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of common processes and concepts in lean problem solving, root cause analysis, and waste reducing tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to drive change.
Pay: ﷼14,400.00 per month
