**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure environmental compliance with local, national, and international regulations, standards, and client requirements.
- Review and monitor the implementation of Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and support in preparation of environmental reports and submissions.
- Perform site inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring (air, water, noise, waste, etc.).
- Identify and assess potential environmental risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities for environmental permits, approvals, and inspections.
- Evaluate and monitor waste management, hazardous materials, and pollution prevention procedures.
- Support the implementation of sustainability and green building practices, where applicable.
- Review contractors’ environmental documentation and performance to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Deliver training, awareness sessions, and toolbox talks on environmental best practices.
- Participate in incident investigations related to environmental non-compliance or pollution events and recommend corrective actions.Prepare periodic environmental performance reports for client and internal stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a PMC or consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, EIA procedures, and international standards (e.g., IFC, ISO 14001, LEED).
- Familiar with construction and industrial project environmental challenges and solutions.
- Experience with environmental monitoring tools, reporting systems, and management software.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
