**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and oversee the design and development of utility infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical expertise in the planning, design, and implementation of civil utility systems, such as water distribution, sewerage, stormwater management, and other related infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive and efficient utility designs that meet project objectives and client requirements.
- Conduct site evaluations and assessments to identify potential challenges and opportunities related to utility design and implementation.
- Utilize advanced design software and tools to create detailed utility plans, profiles, and specifications.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimation for utility design projects, considering factors such as material costs, construction methods, and environmental impact.
- Evaluate and integrate sustainable and resilient design practices into utility infrastructure projects, promoting environmentally friendly and long-lasting solutions.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in civil utility design and engineering.
- Provide technical support during construction and implementation phases, addressing any design modifications or unforeseen challenges that may arise.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and environmental specialists, to ensure holistic and integrated design solutions.
- Participate in client presentations, proposal development, and business development activities to secure new projects and maintain client relationships.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a specific focus on utility design and infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex utility design projects from concept to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to civil utility design and infrastructure.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
