**Responsibilities**:
Our newest opportunity is for a talented **Environmental Engineer** to join our team, based in **Riyadh, KSA**. This position is responsible for working on the Environmental Engineering elements on a major government housing program.

We envisage success in this role to include;
- Conducting audits for environmental and sustainability compliance on-site, taking into consideration understanding of the implementation of green certification systems, sustainable site operations, and client-specific environmental standards and policies.
- Conducting material approvals for sustainability, on-site audits and guiding the supervision teams against sustainability and environmental compliance requirements.
- Preparing environmental report on sites of non-compliance and support site teams on complying with remediation actions, if any.
- Leading the site auditing, reporting, and provision of reports to the Client.
- Supporting the wider KEO team in reviewing submissions by others and ensure that the Client’s sustainability requirements and environmental aspects on site follow the Kingdom’s regulations.
- Collaborating with KEO teams and the Client’s specialist team.
- Writing reports associated with progress and site audit compliance associated both with environmental and sustainability/materials compliance aspects.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include **12 years of relevant experience** partnered with a **Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.**

You will have previously worked on large scale projects within a consultancy scope in the GCC.

Native Arabic speakers will be viewed favourably as the client environment has some departments where Arabic language skills will be needed.
