Cloud Computing Manager/ Senior Manager

The Cloud Computing Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organizations cloud infrastructure and strategy, ensuring that cloud solutions are aligned with business goals and technical requirements. This role involves managing cloud architecture, deployment, and operations while ensuring security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. The Manager/Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the adoption and integration of cloud technologies across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement the organization's **cloud strategy**, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of **cloud infrastructure** (public, private, and hybrid) to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Manage cloud **migration projects**, ensuring mínimal disruption to business operations and optimizing cloud performance.
- Collaborate with **IT and business teams** to identify cloud solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency, and innovation.
- Lead the selection and integration of cloud platforms such as **AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud**, or other cloud service providers.
- Implement and enforce **cloud security policies** and best practices to ensure data protection, compliance, and risk management.
- Monitor cloud system performance, ensure **high availability**, and troubleshoot any operational issues in a timely manner.
- Optimize **cloud costs** by managing resource allocation and scaling cloud services as needed.
- Ensure **disaster recovery** and **business continuity** plans are in place and regularly tested for the cloud infrastructure.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends, making recommendations to enhance the organizations cloud capabilities.
- Lead and mentor the cloud computing team, ensuring continuous professional development and adherence to best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational governance for cloud computing.
- Provide regular reports and updates on cloud infrastructure performance and improvement initiatives to senior management.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- ** Minimum 10 years** of experience in **cloud computing**, with a proven track record in managing large-scale cloud deployments.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing**, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with **cloud platforms** such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or others.
- Experience with **cloud architecture, design, deployment**, and **management**.
- Strong understanding of **cloud security principles**, including data protection, access management, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience with **cloud migration projects** and managing hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of **networking, storage, virtualization**, and **containerization technologies** (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor technical teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
- Certifications in **AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud**, or other cloud platforms are preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Knowledge of **automation** and **infrastructure as code (IaC)** tools such as **Terraform** or **Ansible** is a plus.
