**Your new role, what's involved?**

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage bridge engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with technical standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct detailed design and analysis of bridge structures, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed design, and construction drawings.
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications prepared by junior engineers and drafters.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and environmental specialists, to integrate bridge designs into overall project plans.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and bridge design team members.
- Perform site inspections, assessments, and structural evaluations of existing bridges to identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address bridge design requirements, resolve technical issues, and obtain necessary approvals.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals for bridge engineering projects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in bridge engineering and construction.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in bridge engineering roles within the consultancy sector, with a focus on site supervision for infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical expertise in bridge design, analysis, and construction methods, with a proven track record of delivering successful bridge projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, MIDAS, or STAAD.Pro.
- Familiarity with international design codes and standards for bridges, such as AASHTO, Eurocodes, and BS.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
- Professional licensure or registration as a Chartered Engineer is advantageous.
- Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region is preferred.
