At John Crane we are looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer who will work within the Regional Engineering team in Jubail, and will report to the Regional Sales & Aftermarket Manager.
You primarily provide on-site (in the field) service to our external customers. When not on-site, you assist with day-to-day technical support to the region. This includes product selection and specification, troubleshooting, failure diagnosis and will involve working directly with internal and external suppliers and customers.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Field troubleshooting, including analysis of problems / recommendation & implementation of appropriate solutions, meeting with customers in plant or at customer’s site to resolve satisfactorily
- Detailed failure analysis activities, including investigation / reporting / resolution
- Detailed technical presentations to customers in order to support sales or drive root cause analysis exercises
- Managing and report personal workload, forecast job lead-times to meet customer and departmental objectives
- Visiting customer sites for technical measurement, seal installation and commissioning
- Working in line with John Crane standards, procedures and policies
- Ensuring quality & safety within functions/ tasks performed by himself/herself and staff reporting to him/her
- Being responsible for exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self and others within the organization
- Ensuring compliance with the applicable HSE instructions, requirements, laws and regulations received from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies.

**The Individual**
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in engineering and sales.
- Experience working in refinery rotating equipment/maintenance
- Engineering knowledge in a proactive multinational and multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of CAD
- A strong technical knowledge of John Crane product portfolio is preferred
- Ability to carry out failure analysis and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) mandatory - CAPA preferred
- Vibration Cat 3 certification preferred
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) Preferred
- Excellent knowledge and use of measuring instrumentation
- Fluent English, while speaking in Arabic is an advantage
- Adaptable, flexible and appreciative of an array of cultures and customs.
- Team player and willing to travel at short notice
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and a methodical approach to work.
