Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Project Controls Director **to join our team In this role you will get to lead a team of professionals developing and managing program schedules, costs, and risks, as well as implementing world class reporting dashboards on mega program performance KPIs.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Project Controls execution support: develop/implement/execute the cost and schedule management program for client project portfolio.
- Oversee planning efforts at various stages, facilitate development of cost estimates and budgets, and establish reasonable cost and schedule baselines for a portfolio of projects within the client organization.
- Responsible for providing the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control and report on cost and schedule activities include planning cost and schedule (work breakdown structure) metrics and tools, collecting performance data (e.g. installed quantities, expended labor hours and other progress measurements), tracking data, analyzing and reporting.
- Change Management / Forecasting: Implement change management practices and appropriately capture associated cost and schedule activities.
- Risk & Claims Management Advisory: Support Program Director and client with proactive advisory regarding delivery risks, recommend claims avoidance approaches and alternatives, develop dispute resolution strategies, and, if required, directly support claims negotiations.
- Reporting: Further the development of dashboards to communicate cost and schedule performance to client on a weekly and monthly basis. Implement a standardized suite of cost and schedule reports that enable portfolio senior management to make data driven decisions.
- Analysis and Tracking: Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project cost and schedule performance to identify potential risk areas, validate forecasts, and communicate those quickly to key stakeholders.
- Risk Assessment: Work with key stakeholders to identify project risks, and lead the cost and schedule contingency management process for portfolio projects.
- Studies: Lead ad-hoc cost and schedule studies that enable rapid decision-making from portfolio management.
- Training: Develop and implement a project control training program for the project portfolio management and project control staff, and, if requested, for client staff.
- Employer Requirements: Recommend project control requirements to the client to be included in the PMC and Contractor tendering packages. Participates in internal and client requested lesson learned workshops aimed at continuous improvement of program/project delivery and further differentiating Parsons in the global marketplace.
- Other work as needed in support of successful program/project delivery.
- Manages and directs the client functional Project Controls department heads (Planning Manager, Estimating Manager, IT/PMIS,/Document Control Manager/ Reporting Manager) and their respective staffs in support of the client portfolio of projects.
- Provide guidance to the client on the selection and implementation of a PMIS.
- Coordinates execution of effective Project Risk Management across the project.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Require 25+ years direct, relevant experience with cost and scheduling and/or Project Management in an Engineering & Construction environment
- Require experience establishing a PMC for a client organization
- Preferably a degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Project Management
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex project controls issues, manage conflict and provide resolution using a combination of technical skills, leadership, teamwork and people management skills.
- Proven ability to work in a supervisory capacity

- Thorough knowledge of industry best practices
- Knowledge of applicable Project Controls software and tools, include P6, Aconex and Unifier
