Our client is an international industrial firm headquartered in Europe that specialises in building and civil engineering.
Job Summary:
The Dam Construction Project Director is in charge of overseeing and managing all parts of a dam construction project from start to finish. This senior management role necessitates comprehensive civil engineering, project management, and a thorough understanding of dam construction procedures. The Project Director will be responsible for ensuring that the dam project is completed on schedule and under budget while complying to safety and environmental laws.
Key Project Experiences:
Mega Dam Construction and Complex Underground Tunnelling Construction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required.
- Professional engineering (PE) certification is preferred.
- Minimum of twenty years of project management experience in the dam construction industry.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Expertise with project management.
- Construction knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in depth.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills of the highest calibre.
- Capacity to work effectively under duress and meet strict deadlines.
