**Role Purpose**

The **role Production Manager (Bakery)** manages the production activities in order to deliver the ordered quantities to the market as per requested schedule.

**Key Expectations**:

- Technical development of the process, products and the people working on the lines.
- To keep production cost within standards by improving Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- To ensure strict process control as prescribed within Product parameters in order to maintain Highest standards of quality, food safety and hygiene.

**Location**: Riyadh

**Reporting to**:Operations General Manager

**Direct Reports**: Production Supervisors, Bakers, and Support Staff

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
**Planning & Coordination**:

- Coordinate with the Planning Manager to agree the sales requirements on daily/weekly cycle and prepare the plant/lines for production.
- Plan production schedule based upon alignment with the Planning manager as per above, submit the schedule of product wise production plans to the Planning Manager for him to align it with Sales.
- Plan and issue request to main stores for raw & packaging materials and raise indents based on, Daily/weekly requirements.
- Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedures for all production operations.

**Quality Maintenance**:

- To establish and ensure that the QC/QA procedures, as laid down by company standards, are being strictly followed while production is in progress. Ensure to have mínimal quality complaints for the goods produce thereby minimizing quality complaint of our customers/consumers/market
- To ensure that the plant’s performance is closely following products’ physical and quality parameters, Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices.

**Reporting and Analytics**:

- To prepare and send weekly reports on KPI to GM Ops, To prepare and send monthly reports on KPI set by the company to GM Ops and Finance for cost efficiency evaluation.
- To co-ordinate with all support functions e.g. QA, R&D, Maintenance, Procurement, Safety, Logistic, Dispatch, Human resource and Sales for timely assistance to run the production effectively and efficiently.

**People Management**:

- To help employees in on-the-spot training for improving their present job skills as well as for ensuring pool of adequately skilled labor is multi skilled.
- To control and approve the production employees evaluation at contract renewal.
- To propose the salary increment for production staff.
- Coordination with HR department to recruit the required staff.

**Qualifications**:

- With a reputed food, manufacturing unit (preferably Bakery) for at least 5 years at managerial position in production department is essential.
- Strong knowledge of bakery production processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software.
- Should have a technical qualification (Bachelor’s Degree or more) in the field of Engineering OR Food Science / Technology.
- **Languages**:

- Arabic (preferred) speaking and writing.
- English (fluent) in Speaking and writing.
