Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Quality Specialist**to join our team In this role you will get to play an essential role in safeguarding construction quality and ensuring all project deliverables meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
***What You'll Be Doing;**
- **Assist in implementing the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) on-site.**:

- **Conduct regular inspections and quality checks for materials, workmanship, and processes.**:

- **Ensure that construction activities align with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.**:

- **Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective action plans.**:

- **Track and update QA/QC logs, test reports, and material approvals.**:

- **Support audits and reviews by ensuring documentation is accurate and readily available.**:

- **Participate in inspections with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.**:

- **Verify testing of materials (e.g., concrete, asphalt, electrical components) in line with approved ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans).**:

- **Monitor third-party lab testing and ensure results meet required standards.**:

- **Identify and report any deviations or non-conformances observed during construction.**:

- **Follow up on corrective actions and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions.**:

- **Collaborate with the QA/QC team and construction leads to resolve quality issues promptly.**:

- **Ensure site activities are carried out in accordance with local regulations, contract requirements, and project quality procedures.**:

- **Promote a quality-first mindset among project teams and subcontractors.**:

- **Assist in conducting toolbox talks or quality awareness sessions.**:

- **Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to support inspection and approval processes.**:

- **Attend quality-related meetings and contribute to issue resolution.**:

- **Provide input for continuous improvement of quality processes.**

**What Required Skills You'll Bring;**
- **Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.**:

- **Minimum**2 years of experience**in quality assurance/control in infrastructure or airport construction projects.**:

- **Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality documentation requirements.**:

- **Good understanding of QA/QC processes, inspection procedures, and material verification.**:

- **Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.**:

- **Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.**:

- **Good communication and report-writing skills.**:

- **Proficiency in MS Office and basic use of document control systems.**:

- **Certification in QA/QC or ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor (preferred).**:

- **Knowledge of international codes and standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, etc.).**:

- **Experience working in a joint venture or multinational project environment.**:

- **Basic understanding of construction safety and environmental practices.**
