Project Manager

**Job Description Summary**: The Project Manager will manage projects and carry out all project management activities including follow up with internal team, external vendors and suppliers, client, consultant and support PM in all reporting and invoicing works, arranging all required documentation, etc. for 380/132kV High Voltage Substations Projects.

In line with the Saudization requirements preference will be given to qualified Saudi nationals.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Integration Management
- Set up the project management plan.
- Manage the changes and adapt the objectives & strategy accordingly
- Organize and lead project gate reviews
- Address project management issues (roadblocks, performance,. etc...)

Scope Management
- Manage the entire project scope of work for small and medium projects
- Analyze Customer requirements.
- Organize works allocation for project team.

Time Management
- Responsible for delivering the project on time
- Monitoring and update Master project schedule, based on Multi-activities schedules
- Produce and updates list of key milestones (incl customers) Anticipate on-time delivery issues (documents, services, equipment's)
- Measure project progress and anticipate actions

Cost Management
- Take responsibility for the gross margin of the overall project
- Maximize profit and cash at each phase of project
- Foresee costs & margins at completion
- Identify cost discrepancies.
- Monitor cash evolution and take actions
- Develop monthly sales forecast (in close cooperation with the project controller)
- Develop costs and revenue recovery plans
- Optimize Costs (design to cost, negotiation QCD, etc ) and challenge productivity in all areas directly involved

EHS and Quality Management
- Responsible that EHS & quality requirements are followed by GE Grid teams and subcontractors
- Ensure site quality plan and commissioning procedure are followed
- Manage project acceptance.
- Set-up and monitors control criteria for quality of works (Engineering, CW, erection, tests & commissioning)

HR Management
- Set-up and drive a project and site organisation team.
- Anticipate project resources allocation
- Optimize Project team allocation
- Coach & give feedback within project team

Communication Management
- Responsible for all aspects of communication within the project in particular to promote communication between Units.
- Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and healthy communication
- Manage ongoing working relationships with management to ensure creative solutions and influence decision
- Provide reporting to customer
- Provide reporting to management
- Monitor Multi-Units performance through project reviews

Risk and Opportunity Management
- Conduct Risk Sessions
- Identify and implement risk mitigation plans
- Proactively generate and manage opportunities

Contract and Suppliers Management
- Take responsibility of contract management with project contract manager toward Customer, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure full understanding of the Contractual requirements.
- Build claim and VO’s files.
- Define, monitor and control Customer / Partners / Supplier(s) strategy with regards VO’s & claims.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
- Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Project Manager/Engineer managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and delivery for small to medium projects
- Experience in 132kV/380kV substations, HVDC, STATCOM, and SVC projects.
- Familiarity with key Saudi clients like SEC/NG RC, ARAMCO, and NEOM
- Proven ability to manage customer-facing and internal product/service delivery
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
- Experience with P&L objectives, consortium/partnership projects, and international project management
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with knowledge of project management frameworks
- Technical expertise to manage project lifecycles effectively.
- Willingness to travel and work across Saudi Arabia for short or medium durations
- Coordination with procurement for timely, quality supplier deliveries and resolving conflicts
