Architectural Engineer

**1.** **SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS**

1.1. As an Architecture Consultant at Mayar Gulf Engineering Consultants, you will provide expert architectural advice and support to clients, ensuring high-quality architectural solutions that meet project requirements and objectives.

**1.** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

2.1. Conduct architectural assessments and feasibility studies for projects, considering factors such as site conditions, regulatory requirements, and client preferences.

2.2. Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive architectural designs, drawings, and specifications that align with client needs and project goals.

2.3. Utilize architectural software and tools effectively to create and present design proposals and concepts to clients.

2.4. Review and critique architectural plans and proposals prepared by internal and external teams to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.

2.5. Provide technical guidance and recommendations on architectural materials, construction methods, and sustainable design practices.

2.6. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with architectural plans and specifications.

2.7. Assist in the preparation of project budgets and timelines, and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

2.8. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and technological advancements in architecture.

**2.** **AUTHORITIES**

3.1. Recommend innovative architectural solutions and strategies to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.

3.2. Access necessary architectural resources and tools to support project development and implementation.

3.3. Collaborate with senior management to influence architectural design standards and policies within the organization.

**2.** **ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS**

3.1. Report to the Lead Civil Engineering Consultant or designated Project Manager.

3.2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders as necessary.

3.3. Coordinate with Quality Control and Safety departments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

**2.** **ACCOUNTABILITY**

3.1. Responsible for delivering high-quality architectural solutions, meeting client expectations, and upholding the company's reputation through professional conduct and adherence to policies.

**2.** **QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**

3.1. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Arabic languages.

3.2. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; additional qualifications in business or project management are advantageous.

3.3. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

3.4. Proven experience in architectural consulting or related roles, with a solid portfolio demonstrating successful projects.

3.5. Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.

3.6. Ability and willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and project site visits.
