**Role Summary**:
**Function**:
This person will be responsible to produce and / or modify simple or complex parts. Operating various types of equipment such as: Lathes, Milling machine, Drilling machine, Vertical borer etc. The person will also need to be able to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micro-meters, bore gauges and other various gauges.

**Objective**:
Flowserve will be able to strengthen its repair capabilities by utilising and producing parts for repair jobs in-house so as to have a better control of quality and also delivery.

**Preferred Experience / Skills**:Education/Experience Required**:

- High Diploma ( technical Colleage or technical institutes )
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience doing similar job
- Able to operate and perform machining job based on machining drawings given and as such, must be able to read technical and machining drawings.
- Able to operate various machine tools such as Lathes, Milling machine, drilling machine etc.
- Able to use and read measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micro-meters, bore gauges etc.
- Able to speak English

**Other Information**:

- Incumbent typically is an experienced worker with a minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience
- Incumbent is able to work under mínimal supervision
- Duties and tasks are frequently varied
- A combination of routine and non-routine problems within defined work procedures
- Have some impact on work team and may need to liaise with another department
- Provide guidance to lower level employees, such as fresh graduates or junior team members

**Responsibilities & Requirements**:Responsibility**:

- To produce and machine parts accordingly defined engineering drawings or instructions.
- To ensure accuracy and timely production of metal parts
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micro-meters, bore gauges and other measuring instruments related to Machine shop / QC inspection work.
- To monitor, maintain and keep measuring instruments in their proper place and regularly calibrated.
- Ensure good housekeeping of work area.
- Regularly maintain machines at all time.
- Ensure tooling and fixtures are kept in the designated area after use (Clean and oil)
- Timely submittal of daily Time sheet.
- Inspect all in-coming parts either in raw material stage or completed / machined stage
