The opportunity

Project: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project will consist of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is currently bidding for one of the several Delivery Partner roles which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing precincts 1,2A, 2B, 3 - stadium, elite sports centre, indoor sports arena, e-games arena, which includes up-scale hotel, gondola station (structure), metro station (structure), residential, retail and commercial, public car parking, town square and public realm etc.
- Managing the procurement process for consultants, contractors, and specialist suppliers including long lists, shortlists, prequalification, tendering, mid tender meetings, writing contract placement reports, and contract award.
- Compiling RFPs and tender documents and managing the outputs from others as required i.e. design information, the scope of works, and forms of contract.
- Liaising with other experts on contract forms (lawyers) and insurance requirements.
- Researching the supply chain (locally and internationally) to understand options, constraints, lead-in times, current workloads, bonding capacity, and experience in the sector.
- Securing and procuring all key packages for contractors and consultants.
- Ensuring that the highest standards of health and safety are considered a priority throughout all stages of the project’s life cycle.
- Developing the clients brief and procurement strategy, leading the development of new and established supply chain partners.
- Developing the procurement and project management strategy in line with the Mace Way and the client requirements.

About you

You have a relevant degree qualification, master’s preferred. You will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursue a similar level of professional qualification.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and run a strong, motivated team. You must have experience in programme or project management equating quality and value with the unique clients and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
