At AlUla Club, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and integrity of our sports club. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliation. **Responsibilities**:

- Manage all financial transactions and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations
- Develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures
- Monitor and control budgetary expenses, providing regular reports to management
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and the resolution of any issues
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, promoting their professional development
- Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to relevant tax laws
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization
- Coordinate with other departments to provide necessary financial information and support decision-making processes

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the sports industry
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with sports club operations and regulations is a plus.
