Under direct supervision, maintains financial and operating reports from accounting records.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Performs direct preparation of journal entries and examines accuracy of data.

2. Monitors on a daily basis the posting of entries downloaded from the Accounts Payable, Revenue, Payroll, Employee Benefits, Fixed Assets and Materials Management systems to the General Ledger.

3. Ensures the accuracy of the Trial Balance.

4. Prepares supporting schedules and analyses from the General Ledger and subsidiary ledgers.

5. Ensures proper use of account numbers and cost codes according to the Chart of Accounts.

6. Verifies supporting documents to all General Ledger transactions in terms of legality and compliance with the established policies and procedures.

7. Controls the deposit of cash collection by the Main Cashier.

8. Prepares comparative analyses and statements reflecting variations in costs and revenues.

9. Prepares monthly statements of Schedule 29 for reporting to the Ministry of Finance, General Audit Bureau, Ministry of Economy and Planning and other concerned government agencies.

10. Maintains suitable filing system for all reference documents in area of responsibility.

**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Sciences major in Accounting, or other related discipline is required.

**Experience Required**:
Three (3) years of related experience with Master’s Degree, or five (5) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:

- Computer literacy is required.
- English proficiency is required.
- Other professional qualifications in accounting is preferred.
- Saudi National is preferred.
