This level must possess the ability to function in a collaborative environment, seeking continuous consultation with officers/ senior officers and managers and others both internal and external to the Bank to help BSF build an effective security operations program that minimizes organizational risk and reduces the impact of security breaches.

An Officer Cybersecurity Defence Centre will guide collaborate within levels of the same area as well as independently function to minimizes organizational risk and reduces the impact of security breaches.

**Officer Cybersecurity Defence -**Cyber & Digital Crimes**
- Attend and responding to AFMD inbound requests about fraud cases on online services.
- Respond to cyber and digital crime incidents.
- Address SAMA requirements of quarterly cyber fraud analysis reports including cyber threat intelligence examination.
- Conduct retroactive threat hunting exercises over the historical cyber and digital crimes data.
- Conduct proactive cyber-crimes red teaming, aiming to offensively assault controls to test the possibilities of committing cyber and digital crimes.
- Review cybersecurity incidents from cyber crimes perspective, considering laws such as: “Anti-Cyber Crime Law”.
- Review, assess, and enhance controls to combat cyber and digital crimes.

- A Bachelors or Master’s degree preferably in Cybersecurity or IT / Computer Science or related discipline.
- Professional Certification(s), in related field
- 2-4 years of experience

New and emerging information technology (IT) and cybersecurity technologies; what constitutes a network attack and a network attack’s relationship to both threats and vulnerabilities; Insider Threat investigations, reporting, investigative tools and laws/regulations; hacking methodologies; emerging security issues, risks, and vulnerabilities; current and emerging threats/threat vectors; the common attack vectors on the network layer; different classes of attacks (e.g., passive, active, insider, close-in, distribution attacks); cyber attackers (e.g., script kiddies, insider threat, non-nation state sponsored, and nation sponsored); cyber-attack stages (e.g., reconnaissance, scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation of privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks); emerging technologies that have potential for exploitation; attack methods and techniques (DDoS, brute force, spoofing, etc.); common computer/network infections (virus, Trojan, etc.) and methods of infection (ports, attachments, etc.); current software and methodologies for active defence and system hardening; cyber actions (i.e. cyber defence, information gathering, environment preparation, cyber-attack) principles, capabilities, limitations, and effects.
