With the offer of not only the prospect of being involved in such an iconic scheme but also longevity, career milestones and excellent salary and benefits we are seeking to introduce the role of Compliance Specialist within the HSE Team. The principle objective of this role is to ensure that Parsons SAPL (and its Client, the Royal Commission) operations follow all relevant internal and statutory rules / systems / procedures / policies and to review ongoing operations and provide advice on compliance.

The role will report direct to the Manager of the HSE Department and will interface with all HSE Staff, other internal departments, client representatives, external contractors and consultants.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

- Develop construction Health, Safety and Environment policies, standards, procedures, work instructions as needed
- Develop compliance and monitoring plans
- Ensure the organization has a clearly defined program for complying with Saudi laws
- Report to management concerning compliance with laws and regulations
- Address noncompliance situations, develop mitigation plans
- Manage compliance audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations
- Develop and implement communication plans to ensure awareness of internal and external program compliance
- Develop and revise program governance documentation
- Evaluate business activities across the organization for process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with external auditors when needed
- Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
- Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals

The credentials required for this role include:

- Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in a similar role within a Civil Engineering Company
- NEBOSH IGC (or similar) qualified
- Lead Auditor Accreditation
- Fully Familiar with statutory Health and Safety Standards across KSA
- Familiar with Health and Safety best practices, standards, and controls
- Risk management experience and skills
- Ability to provide training as new systems and capabilities move into operational use
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Integrity and professional ethics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Outlook, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
- Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious and proactive
