Master-Works is looking for a dedicated Personal Data Protection Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for advising clients on best practices related to personal data protection, helping them to comply with relevant regulations and implement effective data protection measures. Your expertise will ensure that personal data is handled safely and ethically, fostering trust in our clients' data practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and review personal data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) to identify and mitigate risks associated with personal data processing activities.
- Provide training and support to client teams on personal data protection best practices and compliance obligations.
- Advise clients on incident response procedures and breach notification requirements in the event of a data breach.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data governance and privacy culture within organizations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in law, information security, data management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data protection or privacy consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of global data protection regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to address complex data protection issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to educate and engage diverse audiences.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Professional certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) are advantageous.
- Experience working in various industries with a focus on personal data protection compliance.
- Familiarity with data management and governance frameworks.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in law, information security, data management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data protection or privacy consulting
- In-depth knowledge of global data protection regulations and standards
- Strong analytical skills to address complex issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred certifications such as CIPP or CIPM
- Experience across various industries focused on compliance
- Familiarity with data management and governance frameworks
