The HSE Specialist offers expert knowledge and skills in order to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture. This represents a key role in helping control occupational risk at Baker Hughes

As a HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Implementing HSE priorities, metrics, goals, and requirements to complete the integration process and operational ownership of Environmental Health & Safety
- Evaluating continuously program effectiveness and implement strategies and tactics to meet business expectations
- Coordinating/conducting compliance audits/reviews of site work areas and coach personnel on identified improvement opportunities and closure of findings/recommendations
- Coordinating/collaborating with other functional leaders and people leaders ensuring expeditious and sustainable program implementation with continuous improvement
- Liaising with internal and external HSE professionals and regulators and ensure audit protection privilege is instituted where & when appropriate
- Providing technical expertise and compliance support to HSE professionals

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Diploma or Bachelor Degree
- Have 4+ years of HSE experience in the Oil & Gas/Manufacturing/Energy industry within Saudi Arabia
- Have understanding of Health and Safety Regulations
- Be ISO 45001, 14001 certified (preferably)
