**The opportunity**

**Project**:This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Understanding of the overall project lifecycle in line with Mace Way (Control Centre) from design through to handover.
- Being aware of current project controls methodologies such as EVM.
- Being able to build an understanding of the common tool sets used on typical Mace projects.
- Developing critical thinking skills to interrogate data and information.
- Managing projects of limited complexity or participating in the delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes under direction.
- Being able to work within multidisciplinary teams and contribute towards analysing trends using numerical and statistical techniques
- Having a technical professional with project control experience.
- Understanding of all aspects of project controls, how they complement each other and wider project delivery.
- Working knowledge of current methodologies and tools related to managing projects.
- Being able to lead negotiations with third parties as a project controls specialist.
- Being able to respond to client/stakeholder requests effectively and sensitively.
- Having excellent attention to detail and ability to validate and check data and reports, recording and reports produced, providing basic commentary and analysis.
- Managing others - including delegating, coordinating, appraising, coaching, and developing/mentoring employees with less experience.
- Persuading and influencing clients, consultants, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Working with others to create and deliver persuasive presentations.
- Tackling problems that do not have an obvious solution.

**About you**

You have a degree or equivalent with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the Programme, Project or Commercial Management disciplines, have registered on and are working towards a professional qualification (e.g. APM, PMI) and have a relevant CSCS Card.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
