Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and innovative **Senior Design Engineer - Digital Infrastructure**to lead and oversee the design of mission-critical ICT systems,, and converged network environments across the giga-project. The role requires deep technical expertise in the design of enterprise-class digital infrastructure, including structured cabling systems, data centers, smart city technologies, and converged IT/OT networks.

You will play a key role in leading consultants, interfacing with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of future-proof, scalable, and integrated digital infrastructure designs across Qiddiya's entertainment, cultural, residential, and mobility zones.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Lead and oversee the detailed design of digital infrastructure systems, including structured cabling, passive networks, fiber backbones, Wi-Fi, and network rooms across Qiddiya assets.
- Ensure alignment of infrastructure design with enterprise IT strategies, smart city goals, and Qiddiya’s digital master plan.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and ICT consultants during all project design phases (concept, schematic, detailed).
- Review and approve design submissions, IFC drawings, design calculations, and technical documentation.
- Define and enforce digital infrastructure design standards, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
- Provide technical guidance to junior design engineers and act as a design lead for multidisciplinary coordination.
- Participate in value engineering sessions and assess trade-offs in system design, performance, and cost.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant international standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, BICSI), local authority regulations, and Qiddiya-specific governance.
- Support the transition of designs into tender documents and work closely with procurement during vendor selection.
- Conduct design assurance reviews and provide support during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ICT, or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in digital infrastructure design, with at least 3 years in large-scale or mixed-use projects.
- Proven experience designing complex ICT and digital infrastructure systems within smart city, giga-project, or enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling (Category 6A, fiber), network room design, IT pathways, and low voltage systems.
- Proficient in design coordination using tools such as AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), and Visio.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and architectural teams in a consultancy or client-side role.
- Excellent understanding of ICT-related international codes and standards (TIA-942, ANSI/TIA-568, BICSI, etc.).

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- BICSI RCDD, CDCDP, CNIDP, or equivalent professional certifications.
- Experience with design of smart infrastructure, IoT-ready platforms, or converged IT/OT networks is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Tier III/Tier IV data center standards and campus-wide ICT infrastructure design.
- Experience working on Saudi giga-projects is highly desirable.
- Project management exposure (PMI, PRINCE2) is a plus for interfacing with delivery teams.

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily office-based at Qiddiya offices with periodic site visits during design reviews and implementation phases.
- Collaboration with international consultants, vendors, and regulatory bodies is required.
