**Description**

You as a Power+ Graduate Trainee will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Saudi Arabia. The STEM Global Power+ Graduate Program is our **flagship early career rotational program**. It is available in 7 different countries and still growing (Brazil, China, India, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, USA & Saudi Arabia), so you’ll be a member of an expanding global network. This opportunity exposes **high potential graduates** to different roles and experiences across various Business Units and Functions in Hitachi Energy. The program offers a unique, learning and career development experience. The program will jumpstart your career with a truly unique journey that will take you across (3) six-months long rotations (18 months in total). Focused on projects that broaden your skillset, each rotation will be within a different segment of our business, and you will choose each assignment area. You will join us as a full-time employee, and from day one in the program, you will be in the driver’s seat of your own career journey. Our offering is perfect for you if you are looking to fast-track your leadership potential and gain a well-rounded business acumen that will enable you to step into professional life. The program will begin on 1st October 2024 the first six-months rotation will be possible in our locations in Saudi Arabia: [Riyadh / Dammam/ Jeddah). The second or third rotation may be done abroad, depending on your chosen project and the availability of business opportunities.

**Your responsibilities**
- Featuring assignments as quality engineering, software engineering, consulting, sales, manufacturing operations, project engineering, project management, R&D, and many more.

- Working closely with your rotational managers to achieve all business goals you are expected to deliver.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to create new values.
- Working with exciting technologies in our domain space (e.g. HVDC, transformers, grid protection and control, HV circuit breakers, etc.) and the advancements which we can transfer from other sectors (examples range from plasma physics to software architecture).
- Be the People Champion of the program.
- Promoting the program internally and externally using your network and available tools and channels.

**Your background**
- A bachelor’s in engineering within STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology, Math) related degrees e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, industrial engineering, energy systems engineering or a related discipline.
- Should be a local citizen of [Saudi Arabia].
- No more than 0- 2 years of professional experience by the start date.
- Excellent communication skills in English - to be able to communicate with colleagues from across the globe; additional languages are considered as an advantage.
