(Global Petroleum Gas) Business System Analyst

We are seeking a Business System Analyst II to join the Digital Solutions Delivery Accelerator Group, in the P&SCM Digital Solutions Division, of Supply Chain Policy & Systems Department. The P&SCM Digital Solutions Division is responsible for transforming Procurement and Supply Chain Management and its operations by integrating people and processes with state-of-the-art technologies and solutions, unlocking huge potential for value creation. The division is a major catalyst for becoming the most digitalized company in the energy industry, as it serves as:
- Business Command Center: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks enabled by real time event monitoring and alerting mechanisms
- Data Management & Decision Support: Develop dashboard solutions and ad-hoc reporting with predictive and prescriptive analytics for the business Big Data
- Digital Solutions Delivery Accelerator: Lead high impact cross functional technologies from concept to deployment
Incumbent works as a company expert with in-depth knowledge and expertise in a supply chain digital domain and related disciplines. Provides professional advice and guidance regarding digital solutions, use cases, platforms, and architecture. Develops digital processes, strategies, frameworks, and best practices. Scouts for and introduce new digital technologies. Proposes cost effective, reusable, and innovative digital solutions. The incumbent is proficient in leading and facilitating the implementation of digital programs and initiatives. Represents the company in engagements with vendors, technology providers, and consultants. Undertakes research studies and technical assessments and presents outcomes and recommendations to executive management. Works on special assignments and develops plans with impact across multiple company organizations. Develops corporate modernizations plans of legacy systems using state of the art digital technologies.
Duties and responsibilities
- Leads digital transformation roadmap, ideation and design thinking sessions, use cases and business cases development. Manages digital projects portfolio including prioritization and funding. Oversees digital projects execution by various execution agencies
- Conducts studies, research, and analysis in his field and makes recommendations to address business challenges. Works as company representative in his domain with professional societies and external entities
- Leads the development, implementation, and introduction of new technologies and solutions, proof of concepts, prototypes, and minimum viable products to proof the value to This Company
- Leads large digital projects in his domain. Defines optimum implementation methods including off
- shelf, software-as-a-service, and in-house custom development.
- Develops, maintains, and manages data governance and compliance frameworks. Assess, identify, and mitigate key risks for the Supply Chain digital strategy and programs.
