**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable functional requirements.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current systems and business needs, and provide functional solutions.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of IT governance frameworks, ensuring systems and processes comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining policies and procedures related to IT systems, including data management, security, and quality assurance.
- Perform assessments and audits to ensure that the organization adheres to industry standards and best practices for IT governance and compliance.
- Work with technical teams to ensure proper integration and functionality of IT systems across different platforms.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend functional changes to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Assist with the testing and validation of new system implementations or updates, ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including system specifications, business process workflows, and user manuals.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management regarding the progress of IT projects and functional analyses.
- Prepare reports on system performance, data accuracy, and process efficiencies.
- Support project teams in the delivery of IT projects by ensuring that functional requirements are met and systems are aligned with business objectives.
- Serve as the liaison between business units and technical teams, facilitating communication and collaboration across departments.
- Assist in training users on new systems and processes, ensuring smooth adoption and effective use.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in IT, business analysis, and IT governance.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for process optimization and system enhancements.
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of IT practices and tools within the organization.**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a functional analyst, with at least 2-3 years working in IT governance or a related field.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, process mapping, and system integration.
- Experience with IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001) and compliance management.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements gathering, and functional specification development.
- Knowledge of IT systems integration, data flow, and system testing.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in tools for documentation and requirements management (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
- Strong presentation and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business units.
