**GENERAL PURPOSE**

A leading Maritime company in the offshore oil & gas services is seeking a well experienced Projects Engineer to execute operations and procedures as instructed by project manager on assigned projects.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Office responsibilities (shall include but not limited to)**
- Assist in the preparation of offers and tenders studies.
- Assist in the Preparation of the project documents (work installation procedure, lifting plans, inspection test plan.....etc).
- Perform any shop / support drawing required.
- Preparations of QC documents and perform any required qualifications.
- Follow up project equipment / tools certificates.
- Assist in requisition of project required material.
- Notify his direct supervisor and the project manager of any problems occurring within any other engineering areas.
- Review subcontractor's milestones and invoices.

**Site responsibilities (shall include but not limited to)**
- Mobilization, demobilization of Barges, manpower/material planning for installation.
- Supervise the execution of works assigned to different task forces (diving, construction team, O&M.etc).
- Ensure that construction work performed according to procedures and drawings.
- Ensuring all work is undertaken in a safe manner and in line with company health and safety guidelines/policies.
- Ensure that the task force on board of the vessel receive all useful data in form of reports, manuals, and drawings.
- Responsible to receiving and verify equipment and materials onboard marine unit.
- Oversee QC/ NDT on welds and materials.
- oversee of all QC documents (WPS, WPQ, NDT Reports, welding maps, welding logs, traceability
- ..etc).
- Preparation and Submittal of As built project documentation.
- Monitor project materials/consumables on-site as received from storekeepers.
- **QHSE Responsibilities**:

- Support the organization’s policy commitments and other applicable Arrangements related to its QHSE management system.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.
- Take reasonable care not to put other people - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk by what they do or don't do in the course of their work.
- Notify their line manager about any health, safety or environmental concerns they have.
- Suggest improvements and being active in the general improvement of all Systems and methods of work to ensure Company operations are carried out in a personally and environmentally safe, reliable and cost effective way

**Requirements**:
**EDUCATION**
- BSc. Mechanical Engineering, Naval engineering, Offshore Engineering.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Good knowledge of running and managing projects.
- Basic knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry.
- Basic knowledge of the offshore installation methodologies & best practice.
- Basic knowledge of EGPC contracts forms, terms & conditions.

**EXPERIENCE**
- +7 year field engineer.
- +3 year QC related activities in projects.

**SKILLS**
- **Technical**

AUTOCAD - MS Office - PMP
- **Languages**

Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
