Our client based in UAE for the role of Senior Sales Engineer specializing in Water Valves
This company is a trading firm established in 2004 and caters to the MEP and HVAC industry in the UAE.
They have their offices in Dubai as well as Abu Dhabi
**Position Overview**:
As a Senior Sales Engineer focused on the KSA market, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales cycle for the Valves Division. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and senior management, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans to maximize our sales targets. You will work closely with management, the sales team, and other departments to align objectives and deliver results.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Sales Growth:
- Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets set by the management for the KSA region.
- Drive growth by increasing revenue and gross margin in line with company targets and strategies.
- Market Expansion:
- Generate leads, produce quotes, and manage bidding processes for projects within the existing customer base.
- Expand the customer base by targeting new clients and fostering strategic relationships in the KSA market.
- Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships across and beyond your area to enhance business performance and share best practices.
- Ensure strong client relationships post-sale and provide ongoing support.
- Product Specification:
- Work with consultants to specify our products, aiming to include our brand in preferred vendor lists.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical product support to customers, evaluating their project needs and specifications.
- Market Analysis:
- Identify emerging markets and shifts while being fully aware of competitor activities and new products.
- Reporting and Administration:
- Report regularly to the management on sales activities and market developments.
- Follow up on payment collections and resolve any payment issues.
- Cross-functional Liaison:
- Collaborate with various departments and colleagues to achieve the company’s overall goals and strategies.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the direct line manager that align with the Sales Engineer’s role.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry in KSA, minimum 8 years.
- Strong understanding of the KSA market dynamics and customer needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical background or understanding of the company’s product range is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Pay: ﷼17,000.00 - ﷼20,000.00 per month
**Experience**:
- Saudi HVAC: 4 years (preferred)
