Medina, Saudi Arabia King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre Full time

Provides administrativedirection and coordination of all section services. Responsible for overallquality, performance and development of all therapeutic and diagnosticrespiratory care services and related policy and procedures documentation.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Plans, organizes, and assures provision of all respiratory care relatedpatient services in the Hospital.

2. Develops and implements policies and procedures governing all aspects ofrespiratory care based on currently accepted standards of practice.

3. Develops expansions, additions, and modifications to serve as requiredto meet changing patient needs.

4. Establishes and develops performance standards, providing monitoring andappraisal of staff performance based on established standards.

5. Ensures that section operates within allocated funds.

6. Prepares equipment budgets and other forecasts related to respiratorycare services.

7. Consults with key medical staff regarding section equipment needs.

8. Coordinates staff schedules and assignments to meet patient care andinstitutional needs.

9. Maintains liaison with the section of Medicine and general medical staff, NursingServices, other department/section Head/Manager, and various committees asappropriate.

10. Evaluates new equipment and recommends supplies purchases.

**Education**:
PhD, Master’s Degree orBachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care or related Health Science is required.

**Experience Required**:
Four (4) years of related experience with PhD, six(6) years with Master’s,or eight (8) years with Bachelor’s Degree including two (2) years ata Supervisory/Senior position isrequired.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
Respiratory Therapy Registry (RRT) from NBRC or CSRT is preferred.

CurrentRegistration from country of origin and/or Saudi Commission for HealthSpecialties (SCHS) is required.
