**Key Responsibilities**
- Facility Operations: Oversee daily operations of school facilities, including classrooms, offices, recreational areas, and grounds. Ensure the effective functioning of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Implement preventive maintenance schedules and manage repairs. Coordinate with school leadership and external service providers for minor renovations or adjustments.
- IT & Procurement Support: Collaborate with the IT department to ensure proper setup and availability of IT resources. Work with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of facility-related supplies and manage inventory.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain emergency response plans.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with school administration and staff to address facility needs. Provide operational support during school events and liaise with contractors and vendors.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Business Administration, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in high-volume environments (e.g., schools, hospitals, malls) is essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee and motivate a diverse team.
- Familiarity with operational challenges in educational or public institutions, as well as safety and compliance standards for public spaces.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
