MERCHANDISER TEAM LEAD

**Job Overview**:
The Merchandiser Team Lead plays a crucial role in leading and coordinating the merchandising team to ensure effective product placement, visibility, and promotion within retail environments. This field-based position involves working closely with merchandisers, monitoring their performance, and ensuring high-quality merchandising standards. The Team Lead will collaborate with the Merchandiser Supervisor to implement strategies, maintain strong retail relationships, and drive sales performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Field Operations and Merchandiser Management**:
Conduct regular visits to retail stores to oversee merchandising activities. The visits might be random before/after/during the merchandiser duty.

Direct and guide merchandisers in executing their responsibilities.

Monitor merchandiser performance in the field, provide feedback, and suggest improvement plans.

Ensure adherence to company guidelines and standards in product placement and display.

Address and resolve any issues related to product placement, stock levels, and display compliance on-site.

Implement merchandising strategies and initiatives to enhance product visibility and sales.

Provide on-the-job training and support to merchandisers.

Help and assist merchandisers in their daily work if needed (usually during high seasons).

**Communication and Coordination**:
Act as the primary point of contact for merchandisers in the field.

Coordinate with the office-based Merchandiser Supervisor on inventory levels, stock needs, and promotional activities.

Communicate alerts regarding near expiry or excess inventory to the Merchandiser Supervisor.

Ensure seamless execution of planograms, display guidelines, and promotional setups.

Directly communicate with the Sales Team to resolve any issues occurred.

Build and maintain strong relationships with Store Managers/Supervisors to ensure continuous communication and feedback.

**Competitor and Market Tracking**:
Monitor competitor brand activities, prices, and space visibility during store visits.

Report market changes and competitor activities to the Merchandiser Supervisor for strategic planning.

Track pricing and ensure activity compliance in the field.

**Promotional and Advertising Oversight**:
Lead the execution of weekly promotional merchandising and marketing activities in stores.

Ensure pricing compliance and proper display of promotional materials.

Conduct on-site price audits for both customer and company products.

**Reports and Feedback**:
Provide regular reports to the Merchandiser Supervisor on field activities, issues encountered, and suggestions for improvement.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of field reports and feedback.

Collaborate with the Merchandiser Supervisor to analyze field data and develop strategies for improvement.

**Team Leadership and Development**:
Provide daily direction, communication, and feedback to the merchandising team.

Set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and oversee day-to-day field operations.

Monitor team performance, report on key metrics, and motivate team members.

Address feedback, resolve conflicts, and identify training needs for continuous improvement.

Train new merchandisers, be in charge of their onboarding and training process.
- Requirements:_

Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor, preferably in the FMCG industry.

Must hold a valid driving license and have a personal car.

Must be prepared to travel outside Riyadh.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and time-management abilities.

Decision-making and problem-solving skills.

In-depth knowledge of merchandising standards and performance metrics.

Ability to work independently and manage a field-based team effectively.

Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with office-based management.

**المسؤوليات الرئيسية**:

- العمليات الميدانية وإدارة مصففين الأرفف:

- إجراء زيارات منتظمة لمتاجر التجزئة للإشراف على أنشطة مصففين الأرفف(تكون زيارات عشوائية قبل / أثناء / بعد ساعات عمل المصفف).
- توجيه وإرشاد مصففين الأرفف في تنفيذ مهامهم.
- مراقبة أداء مصففين الأرفف في الميدان، وتقديم الملاحظات، واقتراح خطط للتحسين.
- ضمان الالتزام بإرشادات ومعايير الشركة في وضع المنتجات والعروض.
- حل أي مشكلات تتعلق بوضع المنتجات، مستويات المخزون، والامتثال للعرض في الموقع.
- تنفيذ استراتيجيات الترويج والمبادرات لتحسين رؤية المنتجات وزيادة المبيعات.
- تقديم التدريب والدعم أثناء العمل مصففين الأرفف.
