Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Financial Manager **to join our team

**What You'll Be Doing**:
Provides direction and management for multiple accounting functions (payroll, billing, accounts receivable/payable, etc.) within the Finance Department. Incumbent exercises expert knowledge in accounting/financial matters and demonstrates effectiveness in guiding and directing others.

Analyzes financial statements and statistics to develop projections and recommendations pertaining to cash flow, assets, and reserves. Prepares recurring or ad hoc reports for senior management.

Ensures accurate and timely monthly/quarterly accounts closing and generation of associated reports.

Keeps aware of current business climate and client requirements. Participates in proposal efforts.

Establishes budgets, schedules, and plans for area of responsibility within the finance department.

May complete special assignments for operations and division management.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business (or equivalent) and typically 12+ years of related work experience, including supervisory experience. CPA preferred.

Requires a thorough knowledge of accounting techniques and principles, as well as expert knowledge of all accounting regulations and company policies. Also requires excellent written and oral communication skills, a proficiency in PC software packages typically associated with accounting, as well as demonstrated managerial experience.
