**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux**servers ( RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Perform routine troubleshooting, system updates, and patch management.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Write and maintain shell scripts for automation of repetitive tasks.
- Set up and manage cron jobs and system logs for scheduled maintenance and monitoring.
- Assist with basic networking tasks such as configuring IP addresses, DNS, and routing.
- Monitor system performance, disk usage, and handle incident response as needed.
- Collaborate with other IT teams on deployments and support requests.
- Document configurations, procedures, and system changes.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Practical experience with Linux server administration.
- Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash or similar).
- Familiarity with cron jobs, system monitoring, and user access management.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH).

**Preferred Certifications**:

- RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator)
- LPIC-1 (Linux Professional Institute Certification Level 1)

**Preferred Experience**:

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with scripting languages beyond Bash (Python) is a plus.
- Understanding of basic security practices for Linux environments.
