An opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager Marine/Costal, you will be involved managing and advising on any issues involving Marine related construction, such as the Marina, from a multidisciplinary point of view, from design through to construction and commissioning/ handover. You will also advise on enabling/ temporary works needed in the marine environment for construction, including logistics and feasibility advice and assessment for different types of construction solutions to meet specific challenges associated with working on a remote island in the red sea 20km from the nearest mainland point.

**Responsibilities**:

- Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
- Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Prepares technical specification sections.
- Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements

**Qualifications**
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- 15 years experience in marine related work.
- You must have marine experience both onshore/offshore.
- You must have marine design experience including design reviews.
- You must be able to demonstrate problem solving skills.
- It would be advantageous to have experience in construction stage.
- Detailed knowledge of AECOM's standards, policies and procedures.
- Excellent command of English (Written and spoken).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree educated in Civil/Structural Engineering
