Riyadh, Saudi Arabia King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre Full time

Provides support to the Purchasing Team to achieve a cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services. Performs minor procurement functions and other administrative tasks required for the orderly and smooth conduct of procurement activities of the Department.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1.Conduct preliminary review and analysis of purchase requisitions. Verifies if pertinent requirements are met such as technical evaluation and budget confirmation. Coordinate with user for any inconsistency or for additional details regarding the item specifications.

2.In coordination with concerned Buyer/Senior buyer, creates Purchase Order ensuring that all pertinent data and information for the requested item are included in the file for easy reference during processing.

3.Prepares notice or calls vendors to solicit price quotations based on consultation/discussion with concerned Buyers/Senior Buyer.

4.As necessary, visits the market to search and purchase urgently needed items. Ensures competitive prices are obtained and quality of goods is in line with Hospital standards. If needed confers with concerned Buyer(s) regarding a particular product or item being purchased.

5.Support the Buyers/Senior Buyer in building-up vendors’ and product prices database.

6.Inputs and retrieves computerized data on procurement. Verifies computer information.

7.Performs minor calculations. Prepares short reports for Department and management consumption.

8.Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.

9.Performs any other related duties as assigned.

10.Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s Degree or IPA Diploma in Hospital Administration or other related discipline is required

**Experience Required**:
No required experience with Bachelor’s Degree or one (1) year of related experience with IPA Diploma is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
Saudi Nationals only.
