Financial Specialist

Performs duties necessary for the accurate calculation of payments, maintenance of records, preparation of financial reports, and other related duties as assigned. Acts as a resource person and provides team leadership to the section.
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
2. Reviews, analyses and verifies financial reports and documents for accuracy; makes necessary adjustments or corrections through journal entries or other established procedures.
3. Researches and interprets a variety of complex technical information in response to inquiries.
4. Recommends or participates in the development of new procedures and policies related to financial operations; assists in coordinating approved changes within the system; updates the policy/procedure manuals.
5. Coordinates schedules and conducts training sessions for departmental key staff to explain and/or update information regarding policies and procedures; tracks progress of specialized work projects or department functions.
6. Responds verbally or in writing to inquiries, complaints or problems and makes necessary adjustments of a non-routine nature.
7. Initiates payment processing quality assurance reviews; identifies training issues and/or problem-prone processes to ensure optimal efficiency and error-free transactions.
8. Follows all related Hospital policies and procedures.
9. Participates in self and others’ education, training and development as applicable.
**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative sciences major in Accounting or any related discipline.
**Experience Required**:
Three (3) years of related experience with Master’s Degree or five (5) years with Bachelor's Degree including one (1) year in a supervisory capacity required.
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
Computer literacy
English proficiency required.
Other professional qualifications in Accounting preferred.
Saudi national preferred.
