**Overview**:
AMCDE is a leading engineering and consultancy joint venture within KBR, employing over 900 professionals. The business is deeply established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the majority of current work delivered under the General Services Plus (GS+) contract for Saudi Aramco. While maintaining and expanding this strategic relationship remains a priority, AMCDE/KBR is also focused on diversifying its client base and capturing new opportunities within the Kingdom.

To lead this strategic ambition, we are seeking to appoint a high-calibre **Business Development Director** to shape and drive our growth agenda across KSA.

**Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a Kingdom-wide growth strategy aligned with AMCDE’s business objectives.
- Deepen engagement with Saudi Aramco under the GS+ contract and identify adjacent areas for growth.
- Deliver revenue targets in line with budget as a minimum
- Broaden AMCDE’s client portfolio by targeting new opportunities across infrastructure, energy, and industrial sectors.
- Direct, support, mentor and develop internal sales/bidding team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across client organisations, government bodies, and industry partners.
- Lead high-quality bid and proposal processes, working cross-functionally with technical, commercial, and operations teams.
- Serve as a key member of the AMCDE leadership team, contributing to broader business planning and decision-making.
- Represent AMCDE and KBR in external forums, ensuring the company’s profile, reputation, and integrity are upheld and enhanced at all times.

**Essential Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in Saudi Arabia, within engineering, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
- Proven track record of success with Saudi Aramco and other major clients in the Kingdom.
- Fluent Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver business development strategies that generate sustainable growth.
- Experienced in operating at senior levels with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and understanding of the local regulatory landscape.

- High level of integrity and personal credibility.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and influencing others.
- Strategic thinker who is also hands-on and delivery-focused.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with a commitment to the success of AMCDE and KBR
- Should have capability for at least one level career progression within BD or Operations

**Reporting**:
This role will report to VP Business Development based in the UAE with strong line to the AMCDE Managing Director and will work closely with KBR regional leadership.
