Role Summary: The Director/GM lead the Pumps original equipment and aftermarket businesses in Saudi Arabia through an exciting period of growth and transformation. He/She will lead the organization in developing and implementing initiatives that improve business practices, operational alignment, market share, profitability and long-term positioning of this fast-growing business. Furthermore, he/she will work with all elements of the Flowserve enterprise to deliver effective strategic and related operating plans. This is a leadership role within the Company, established to provide enterprise leadership to this critical segment of the pumps business. The Segment Leader will direct a team of global associates in sales, commercial operations, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, planning, human resources and finance functions on a direct and/or indirect basis. He/She will lead all facets of a segment and will be responsible for delivering gross margin, operating income and operating plans.

Responsibilities & Requirements: The Director/GM will have responsibilities in business growth, strategic positioning and expansion, customer relationship management, and team leadership and development.
- Maximize profitability and positioning for the business while ensuring the business meets strategic goals
- Provide leadership and vision for the strategic direction, tactics and business plans necessary to realize financial and operating objectives
- Oversee business results, including cash flow, profitability, revenue growth, performance to budget as well as capital structure and balance sheet initiatives
- Build strong relationships with key customers across market channels to ensure an understanding of their needs, communicate a sense of commitment and create a strong sense of brand loyalty
- Drive growth through new product development, product differentiation and effective market pricing
- Develop necessary business plans, marketing and operational programs using an analytical, market data-driven approach
- Organize and coordinate all business activities and leverage the breadth and depth of the company’s product and solutions portfolio, and create an optimal value proposition
- Grow sales volume, market share and profitability for the business while meeting or exceeding the needs of the customer base
- Manage the product, service and solution offerings, initiatives and positioning strategies to ensure the continued growth and alignment with corporate global strategy
- Be the “face” of products business in the industry
- And other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience:

- Operational leadership experience of at least $100 million business with a track record of growth and profitability in international operations
- Expertise in the pump or end user network involving process control, monitoring, hardware/software integration, or related business
- Proven track record of implementing new business development and marketing initiatives that led to profitable growth
- Experience driving cost reduction through business process synergies, continuous improvement, lean practices, outsourcing, e-commerce, or digital enterprise internally and externally
- Proven experience building, motivating and leading a high-performing global team
- Change Agent: Proven success leading and managing organizational change
- Humility: Conveys quiet confidence, champions the strengths and accomplishments of others, and allows others to find their voice, demonstrate their strengths and own the process
