**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Strategy & Planning**: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with the company’s objectives. Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing to ensure competitive advantage.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**: Lead the selection, negotiation, and ongoing management of suppliers. Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key vendors to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- **Purchasing & Sourcing**: Oversee the procurement of goods and services, including raw materials, equipment, and services. Ensure timely processing of purchase orders and compliance with company policies.
- **Cost Management & Budgeting**: Monitor procurement budgets, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and implement strategies to optimize spending while maintaining quality standards.
- **Contract Negotiation & Compliance**: Lead negotiations for contracts, ensuring all agreements meet legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. Manage contract renewals and compliance monitoring.
- **Team Leadership & Development**: Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development. Set clear goals and KPIs for team members.
- **Risk Management & Compliance**: Monitor and assess potential supply chain risks, implementing strategies to mitigate disruption and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- **Reporting & Analysis**: Track procurement performance, supplier performance, and cost metrics. Generate regular reports for management, providing insights into procurement activities and cost-saving initiatives.
- **Inventory & Logistics Coordination**: Work closely with the inventory and logistics teams to ensure that procurement activities align with inventory management and delivery schedules, reducing stockouts and delays.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM, CIPS) or a Master’s degree would be an advantage.
- **Experience**: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Proven experience in cost management, budgeting, and process optimization.
- Strong understanding of procurement software and tools, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of local and international procurement practices and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
