A newly created opportunity open for Saudi Nationals, we are looking for a qualified accountant to join us as Financial Controller in our growing presence in Saudi Arabia.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, Middle East and Africa (MEA), the Financial Controller will take responsibility on all Financial and Controlling matters for BSI’s expanding business and prominence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The Financial Controller will take ownership for the Financial Accounting and Reporting, ensuring timely, accurate and comprehensive information can be provided across the Group and key stakeholders. The role will be the face of Finance as a Business Partner in our KSA branch, with an independent reporting responsibility on all matters relating to the Control environment.
This position will be an office-based role in our Riyadh office. As a member of the regional finance team, you will also be providing financial and controlling support for our Qatar branch when necessary and will involve a small amount of regional business travels depending on business requirements.
To thrive in this role, you are:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Knowledge of local and IFRS accounting standards as well as local taxation legislations.
- An excellent communicator with firm professional ethics, able to relay financial information to stakeholders and gain credibility with different seniorities and disciplines.
- A solution orientated and goal driven team player with strong organisation and prioritising capabilities, able to delegate tasks to team members where appropriate.
