WSP Middle East is currently looking for a Planning Manager to join a hotels/hospitality (PMC) project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
**Your new role, what's involved?**
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure a smooth and efficient construction process.
- Collaborate with the finance team to create and monitor project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication throughout all project phases.
- Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to address and mitigate them effectively.
- Regularly assess project progress against established timelines and milestones, promptly addressing any delays or deviations.
- Implement robust quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets the highest standards and adheres to all relevant regulations and codes.
- Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Provide timely and accurate project status reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and project milestones.
- Oversee the preparation and administration of contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring all parties comply with contractual obligations.
**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related fields
- 15 years of post-graduate experience with prior GCC experience
- Extensive experience working with project management consultancies
- Previous experience in Project Controls, Planning, Forensic Delay Analysis, Claims and Project Management
- Good knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle for **hotel/resorts projects** in respect to project controls, planning, risk, cost and schedule control
- Good knowledge of the design process and construction methodologies
- Experienced Project Controls professional with good technical skills (i.e. critical path, earned value, etc)
