Overview of the role

Be responsible for developing the overarching information systems strategy, which will ensure the operational companies under the holding company are interlinked with the correct systems. A core focus should be on IT security. Assure coherent IT architecture, adequate software, and strong cybersecurity for the HoldCo and provide guidelines on the above for its subsidiaries.
- Information Technology:

- Design IT systems architecture
- Select adequate IT software for the HoldCo
- Lead digital transformation for the HoldCo
- Ensure proper archiving and documentation through the implementation of internal regulations
- Ensure provision of technical support services to employees
- Maintain inventory of IT hardware and software
- Cybersecurity:

- Safeguard information system assets by identifying and solving potential security problems
- Protect systems by defining cybersecurity policy including access privileges, controls, and resources
- Ensure interventions to recognize problems, and report violations
- Implement cybersecurity improvements by assessing the current situation and anticipating risks
- Conduct security audits to ensure proper functioning and compliance
- Ensure user information dissemination by preparing performance reports and comm. system status
- Ensure safe data storage and access

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
You will be required to perform the following:

- Oversight over IT contractors and software providers
- Assuring the high-quality IT infrastructure and software utilized
- Assuring operational readiness of IT systems
- Coordination of IT systems development across subsidiaries
- Assuring coherence of IT infrastructure and software across subsidiaries
- Analysis of competitors’ IT infrastructure and software used
- Advising on best providers for software
- Advising to CEO on changes in IT infrastructure of software solutions used

Qualifications & Experience Education : Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or IT / Information Systems Competencies(Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) : Strong IT skills, Strong IT infrastructure skills, Strong Cybersecurity skills, Strong team management and people skills, Good verbal and written communications, High moral reputation, and proven integrity Experience : 7+ years of experience in Computer Science Languages : English, Arabic is a plus
